Arizona Diamondbacks vs Miami Marlins (6:40 PM ET)
The Diamondbacks open a series in Miami as -165 favorites on the moneyline, indicating the market’s confidence in Arizona’s edge. Arizona (9-7) has been solid to start the season and sends veteran Merrill Kelly to the mound. Miami (8-7) counters with rookie Connor Gillispie, making the Marlins home underdogs. Look for Arizona’s balanced offense and experienced starter to set the tone here.
-
Moneyline: Diamondbacks (-165) – Arizona’s offense and Merrill Kelly’s reliability give them the advantage. We expect the D-backs to win outright, as Kelly should outduel the inexperienced Gillispie.
-
Run Line: Diamondbacks -1.5 (+120) – Back Arizona to cover the 1.5-run spread. The Marlins have struggled to score runs consistently, so a multi-run Diamondbacks victory is a strong possibility.
-
Over/Under: Over 8.5 Runs – With a rookie pitcher on the hill for Miami, Arizona could put up a healthy total. The Marlins might chip in a few runs as well. We project a 6-3 or 7-4 type game, pushing this total over.
-
Prop: Merrill Kelly OVER 5.5 strikeouts – Kelly should navigate Miami’s lineup efficiently. The Marlins strike out often, and Kelly has the command to rack up at least 6 Ks in this matchup.

Seattle Mariners vs Cincinnati Reds (6:40 PM ET)
Both Seattle and Cincinnati come in at 8-8, but the Mariners are slight -120 favorites on the road. Seattle’s ace Luis Castillo faces his former team, adding a storyline to this matchup. The Reds send young lefty Nick Lodolo to the mound. Cincinnati’s offense has flashed potential, but Seattle has won four straight games and brings a more complete lineup. Expect a competitive game in hitter-friendly Great American Ball Park.
-
Moneyline: Mariners (-120) – We like Seattle to win behind Luis Castillo. Castillo knows the Cincinnati park well and is in great form, which should give the Mariners the edge despite the Reds’ home-field advantage.
-
Run Line: Mariners -1.5 (+150) – Taking Seattle to win by 2 or more runs offers value. If Castillo dominates and the Mariners’ bats produce early, the Mariners could cover the -1.5 run line. It’s a riskier play, but worth considering given the pitching mismatch.
-
Over/Under: Under 8.5 Runs – Castillo and Lodolo are capable of a pitchers’ duel. The under looks appealing with two quality arms on the mound. A 4-3 type of game is in play, especially if both pitchers work deep and limit big innings.
-
Prop: Luis Castillo OVER 7.5 strikeouts – Returning to Cincinnati, Castillo will be motivated. The Reds’ lineup is aggressive and can be swing-happy, so Castillo’s strikeout total has upside. We’ll back him to fan at least 8 batters.

==============
Washington Nationals vs Pittsburgh Pirates (6:40 PM ET)
In this battle of rebuilding teams, Pittsburgh is a -130 favorite at home. The Pirates (6-11) broke out for 10 runs in yesterday’s win, while the Nationals (6-10) have dropped three straight. Mitch Keller gets the start for Pittsburgh, bringing a mid-4s ERA but clear talent, and Washington starts Jake Irvin, who has been hittable. Neither lineup is very potent, but Pittsburgh’s offense showed signs of life and they have the pitching edge here.
-
Moneyline: Pirates (-130) – We’re picking Pittsburgh to win on the moneyline. Mitch Keller is the more proven starter and the Pirates’ lineup (led by Bryan Reynolds and Ke’Bryan Hayes) should produce enough against Jake Irvin and a weak Nats bullpen.
-
Run Line: Pirates -1.5 (+150) – For a plus-payout, consider Pittsburgh -1.5 runs. The Nationals rank near the bottom of the league in scoring, so if Pittsburgh can push across 5+ runs, they could cover the spread. A 5-2 Pirates win is a plausible outcome.
-
Over/Under: Under 8.5 Runs – Offense may be scarce. Washington is averaging barely 3 runs per game, and Pittsburgh isn’t much better aside from yesterday’s surge. Keller can hold the Nats to a low total. Under 8.5 is the play in what could be a 4-3 type game.
-
Prop: Mitch Keller OVER 6.5 strikeouts – Keller has swing-and-miss stuff and faces a Washington lineup lacking punch. Expect Keller to attack aggressively. Seven or more strikeouts is within reach given the Nationals’ tendency to strike out against right-handed power pitchers.

==============
San Francisco Giants vs Philadelphia Phillies (6:45 PM ET)
The Phillies (-155) are home favorites in this intriguing matchup. San Francisco (12-4) is off to a terrific start but sends Justin Verlander to the mound on short rest; the 42-year-old legend has struggled in his last two outings (8 earned runs in his last 8 innings). Philadelphia (9-7) counters with lefty Jesús Luzardo, who has been sharp. Philly’s star-studded lineup (Bryce Harper, Trea Turner, Kyle Schwarber) looks to rebound after losing last night. Despite the Giants’ hot record, the pitching matchup favors the Phillies.
-
Moneyline: Phillies (-155) – We’re backing Philadelphia to win at home. Verlander’s recent form is worrisome – he hasn’t been as dominant, and the Phillies have the left-handed power (Harper, Schwarber) to take advantage. Luzardo should keep the Giants’ bats in check enough for the Phils to pull out a victory.
-
Run Line: Phillies -1.5 (+135) – Take Philadelphia -1.5 for added value. If Verlander continues to falter, the Phillies could win by a comfortable margin. A 6-4 or 5-3 Phillies win would cash this, and Philadelphia’s offense is capable of a crooked number against an aging arm.
-
Over/Under: Over 8.5 Runs – Both teams can score, and Verlander is no longer unhittable every outing. The overlooks promising. The Phillies may put up 5+ themselves, and the Giants, who average over 5 runs per game, can contribute a few, especially once it gets to the bullpens.
-
Prop: Bryce Harper OVER 1.5 total bases – Harper loves facing power pitchers, and he’s seeing the ball well lately. At least two total bases (via a couple of hits or one extra-base hit) is a solid prop. He could easily double in this one or even park one in the seats against a declining fastball.

==============
Boston Red Sox vs Tampa Bay Rays (7:05 PM ET)
Tampa Bay (-130) is favored at home after absolutely dismantling Boston 16-1 in yesterday’s game. The Rays (9-8) have found their offense, and now they’ll start Ryan Pepiot, a young righty acquired in the offseason. Boston (8-9) sends Walker Buehler to the mound – the former Dodgers ace who is working his way back to form. This is Game 2 of the series and also being played at a neutral site (Steinbrenner Field in Tampa) due to scheduling quirks. Boston will aim to bounce back from the blowout, but the Rays at “home” are always dangerous.
-
Moneyline: Rays (-130) – We like Tampa Bay to win again. While Walker Buehler is a big name, the Rays have momentum and a knack for performing well in Florida. Their lineup (Randy Arozarena, Wander Franco, et al.) is clicking, and they’re 5-1 in their last six games. Tampa’s offense should do enough against Buehler to secure a victory.
-
Run Line: Rays -1.5 (+150) – With the way Tampa Bay’s bats exploded, taking them -1.5 runs is worth a shot. Boston’s bullpen was taxed yesterday, and if Pepiot can deliver a solid start, the Rays could win by a few runs. Another lopsided score isn’t likely, but a 5-3 win would cover this spread.
-
Over/Under: Under 8.5 Runs – Despite yesterday’s scoring binge, we lean under here. Buehler will be motivated to restore some pride for Boston and should limit Tampa’s offense compared to the previous game. Meanwhile, the Red Sox offense has been inconsistent. This could be a 4-3 type game.
-
Prop: Randy Arozarena OVER 1.5 total bases – Arozarena is heating up and typically thrives at home. He had multiple hits in the series opener. Facing a right-hander like Buehler, he can still find a gap or leg out extra bases. We’ll back him to accumulate at least two bases (via hits) in this one.

==============
Cleveland Guardians vs Baltimore Orioles (7:05 PM ET)
Baltimore (-150) enters as a home favorite despite a 6-9 record. The Orioles have lost three of their last four, but they send veteran Charlie Morton to the hill to stabilize things. Cleveland (8-7) has been scrappy and will start young lefty Logan Allen. The Guardians rely on pitching and small ball, while the O’s have more power potential. This game is nationally televised on TBS, and we anticipate a close contest at Camden Yards.
-
Moneyline: Orioles (-150) – We’re taking Baltimore to win. Charlie Morton’s experience (even at 41 years old) gives the O’s a pitching edge. The Orioles’ lineup, featuring Cedric Mullins and Adley Rutschman, should push enough runs across against Logan Allen. Cleveland’s offense is light, and that favors Baltimore in a tight game.
-
Run Line: Orioles -1.5 (+140) – The Orioles at -1.5 are a viable play. If Baltimore’s bats wake up (they’ve been better at home), they can win by 2+. The Guardians often struggle to score more than a couple of runs, so a Baltimore 5-3 win could be on the cards, covering the spread.
-
Over/Under: Under 8.5 Runs – Look for a lower-scoring affair. Cleveland plays a lot of 4-2, 3-2 games and Morton is adept at inducing weak contact. Allen has been decent and could keep Baltimore from exploding. We’ll ride the under, expecting strong pitching and just moderate hitting.
-
Prop: José Ramírez OVER 1.5 total bases – If anyone is going to spark Cleveland’s offense, it’s J-Ram. He’s a threat from both sides of the plate. Against Morton, Ramírez could double or collect two singles. We like him to reach two total bases in this matchup, even in a low-scoring game.

==============
Kansas City Royals vs New York Yankees (7:05 PM ET)
The Yankees (-190) are heavy favorites at Yankee Stadium, and for good reason. New York (9-7) trots out Max Fried, their big left-handed ace acquired in the offseason, who has been excellent so far. Kansas City (8-9) has overachieved early but faces a tall task. The Royals start Michael Wacha, a veteran who can be crafty but is prone to giving up hits. The Bronx Bombers should have the clear upper hand with a pitching mismatch and a more potent lineup.
-
Moneyline: Yankees (-190) – New York should win this game outright. Max Fried has the arsenal to dominate KC’s lineup, and the Yankees’ offense is vastly superior on paper. Given the low payout on the moneyline, this is a great candidate to include in parlays. It’s hard to see the Yankees losing at home with this matchup.
-
Run Line: Yankees -1.5 (-120) – We expect a multi-run Yankees win. Their offense (Aaron Judge, Giancarlo Stanton, Gleyber Torres, etc.) can erupt, and Fried is likely to stifle the Royals’ bats. Taking New York -1.5 on the run line is the recommended play to get better odds. A 6-2 or 5-1 Yankees victory looks very plausible.
-
Over/Under: Under 8.5 Runs – With Fried on the mound, the Royals might struggle to score more than a run or two. Wacha could give up a few, but if he limits the damage to, say, 5 runs, the under will cash. We envision something like a 5-2 game (total 7 runs), so lean under.
-
Prop: Max Fried OVER 7.5 strikeouts – The Royals have a free-swinging lineup and Fried is a strikeout artist when he’s on. He should pitch deep into this game. Back Fried to rack up 8+ Ks as he mows through Kansas City’s order with his mix of mid-90s heat and knee-buckling curveballs.

==============
Atlanta Braves vs Toronto Blue Jays (7:07 PM ET)
One of the day’s marquee matchups has the slumping Braves visiting the Blue Jays. Surprisingly, Atlanta is a slight -120 favorite despite a 5-11 start and being last in the NL East. The Braves did win last night, snapping a losing skid, but they’ll start rookie Spencer Schwellenbach in this game. Toronto (9-8) counters with ace Kevin Gausman and looks to capitalize on Atlanta’s struggles. The Blue Jays are 6-3 at home and will have a loud Rogers Centre crowd behind them.
-
Moneyline: Blue Jays (+100) – This is an upset pick with Toronto as a home underdog. We like the Blue Jays to win outright. Kevin Gausman has been dominant (expect 6+ innings of stellar pitching), and the Braves haven’t been themselves offensively. With Vlad Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette anchoring the lineup, Toronto should plate enough runs off the untested Schwellenbach to get the victory.
-
Run Line: Blue Jays -1.5 (+180) – If you’re feeling bold, take the Jays -1.5 for a big payout. Gausman can keep Atlanta in check (the Braves have averaged under 4 runs during their recent slump). Should Toronto jump on the rookie pitcher early, this could be a 5-2 win which clears the run line. It’s riskier, but the value is there given the pitching matchup.
-
Over/Under: Under 7.5 Runs – This total is low, but we still lean under. Gausman might shut down Atlanta’s powerful lineup (Ronald Acuña Jr., Matt Olson, Austin Riley) which hasn’t fired on all cylinders lately. On the flip side, the Braves’ bullpen and Schwellenbach could limit Toronto enough to keep the game around, say, 4-2 or 4-3. Defense and pitching will be the story here.
-
Prop: Kevin Gausman OVER 6.5 strikeouts – Gausman’s splitter is one of baseball’s nastiest pitches, and he’s been piling up strikeouts. The Braves do have some free swingers, and with their current form, we expect Gausman to go right at them. He should clear 7+ Ks as he anchors the Jays in this contest.

==============
Detroit Tigers vs Milwaukee Brewers (7:40 PM ET)
Don’t look now, but the Tigers are 10-6 and leading the AL Central. Detroit is a -120 favorite on the road in Milwaukee after winning 9-1 last night. The Tigers’ lineup, bolstered by newcomers like Gleyber Torres (who had 3 RBIs yesterday), is exceeding expectations. They’ll start Jack Flaherty, the former Cardinals ace who’s looking rejuvenated in Detroit. The Brewers (8-9) have lost three straight and send young Quinn Priester to the mound in hopes of snapping the skid. American Family Field tends to favor hitters, but Milwaukee’s offense has been cold.
-
Moneyline: Tigers (-120) – We’re riding the hot hand with Detroit to win. The Tigers are playing confident baseball, and Jack Flaherty’s veteran savvy should give Milwaukee trouble. The Brewers have only scored 5 runs total in their last three games (all losses). Detroit’s balanced attack and better form make their moneyline a smart play.
-
Run Line: Tigers -1.5 (+150) – For plus odds, take Detroit -1.5. Given how the Tigers handled the Brewers yesterday, another multi-run win is on the table. Milwaukee’s lineup is slumping – if Flaherty can deliver a quality start, the Tigers might pull away 5-2 or 6-3, covering the spread.
-
Over/Under: Under 7.5 Runs – Both teams have been involved in low-scoring games recently. Detroit’s pitching has allowed only 3 runs in the last two games, and Milwaukee’s offense hasn’t contributed much. We predict a fairly low total again (something like 4-2 or 5-2), which makes the under 7.5 the safer choice.
-
Prop: Gleyber Torres OVER 1.5 total bases – The Tigers acquired Torres for his bat, and he’s delivering. He had a double and a single last night. Facing the inexperienced Priester, Torres has a great chance to keep raking. We’ll back him to reach at least two total bases (e.g., a double or two singles) in this matchup.

New York Mets vs Minnesota Twins (7:40 PM ET)
Two teams trending in opposite directions meet here. The Mets (11-5) are red-hot and atop the NL East, while the Twins (5-12) “just suck” right now – as one commentator bluntly put it – sitting last in the AL Central. New York is a -115 favorite on the road. Tylor Megill starts for the Mets, providing steady if unspectacular innings. Minnesota counters with Bailey Ober, a tall right-hander who has pitched decently but received no run support. The Twins have scored two or fewer runs in five of their last seven games. Unless Minnesota’s bats wake up, the Mets have a clear edge.
-
Moneyline: Mets (-115) – It’s hard not to pick New York to win given the trajectories. The Mets’ lineup, featuring Pete Alonso and Francisco Lindor, should capitalize on Twins mistakes. Minnesota’s offense is in a serious funk, and until they prove otherwise, backing the Mets (even with a mid-rotation arm like Megill pitching) is the right call.
-
Run Line: Mets -1.5 (+145) – The Mets covering -1.5 runs is a solid play for a better payout. The Twins have lost many games by multiple runs during this slump. If New York jumps ahead early, Minnesota’s confidence could crater. A 5-2 or 6-3 Mets win would cash this ticket.
-
Over/Under: Under 8.5 Runs – Lean under given the Twins’ inability to score. The Mets might put up 5 or 6 themselves, but if the Twins remain cold, the total will stay low. Both Megill and Ober are capable of quality starts (think 3 earned runs or fewer each), and that points to an under. Something like 5-3 (8 runs) or 5-2 (7 runs) feels right.
-
Prop: Pete Alonso to HIT A HOME RUN (+250) – Let’s spice it up with a prop on the Polar Bear. Alonso’s power is unmatched in this matchup, and Ober is a fly-ball pitcher at times. In a night game at Target Field (which can be hitter-friendly in mild weather), Alonso is a good bet to go yard. At around +250 odds, it’s a worthwhile prop for a slugger who could feast on Minnesota’s pitching.

Oakland Athletics vs Chicago White Sox (7:40 PM ET)
It’s been a rough start for Chicago (4-11), and the South Siders find themselves as +130 underdogs at home against Oakland. The A’s (6-10) haven’t been great either, but they have an edge on the mound with lefty Jeffrey Springs set to start. Springs has looked sharp early on, showing the swing-and-miss form he had in Tampa Bay. The White Sox will go with Sean Burke, a rookie still seeking his first MLB win. Chicago’s offense ranks near the bottom of MLB (batting just .201 as a team), so this could be a low-scoring grind. Oakland is favored at -155 for good reason.
-
Moneyline: Athletics (-155) – We’re taking Oakland to win. The A’s have the better pitcher and, surprisingly, the slightly better offense at the moment. Chicago has lost any home-field edge (they’re 4-5 at home) and just isn’t hitting. Springs should guide Oakland to a victory, even if it’s a close one.
-
Run Line: Athletics -1.5 (+135) – Look for the A’s to cover the 1.5 run line. Chicago’s scoring woes mean if Oakland gets ahead by a couple, it might be enough to coast. A 4-2 Athletics win fits this projection. Springs could easily go six strong innings, and the A’s bullpen can lock it down against a Sox lineup that has only scored more than 3 runs once in the last week.
-
Over/Under: Under 8.5 Runs – This game profiles as a pitcher’s duel (or a lack of hitting, which has the same betting result). The under is the play. Neither team is lighting up the scoreboard, and with Springs likely silencing Chicago, and Oakland not known for huge run totals, a 4-3 or 5-2 game stays under the number.
-
Prop: Jeffrey Springs OVER 7.5 strikeouts – The White Sox have been striking out a lot (they’re top 10 in K-rate). Springs, a strikeout-per-inning type pitcher, can exploit that. He’s fully stretched out after returning from injury and could pile up 8-9 Ks against this free-swinging Chicago lineup.

Houston Astros vs St. Louis Cardinals (7:45 PM ET)
Two playoff-hopefuls meet in St. Louis, each hovering around .500. Houston (-130) is favored despite being on the road and having a 7-9 record. The Astros will start Hunter Brown, the fireballing prospect who has shown flashes of brilliance. The Cardinals (8-8) counter with Erick Fedde, a journeyman right-hander who’s been serviceable but not intimidating. The Astros’ lineup (even without some injured stars) is more fearsome than the Cardinals’, and Houston is looking to build momentum after a slow start. Busch Stadium is a neutral setting weather-wise tonight, and we anticipate a close game with Houston’s talent edging it out.
-
Moneyline: Astros (-130) – We like Houston to win straight up. Hunter Brown’s electric arm can shut down the Cardinals for five or six innings, and Houston’s bats (look for Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman to do damage) have a favorable matchup against Fedde. The Astros are the defending champs for a reason – expect them to play with urgency and take this game.
-
Run Line: Astros -1.5 (+155) – If you’re confident in Houston, the -1.5 run line offers a nice payout. It’s easy to picture the Astros leading by a run late and tacking on insurance via their deep lineup. A 5-3 Astros win would cash this, and that scoreline is well within reach given the disparity in pitching quality.
-
Over/Under: Over 7.5 Runs – We lean over in this one. St. Louis can contribute a few runs at home (Paul Goldschmidt and Nolan Arenado are always threats), and Houston could score 5+ themselves. 7.5 is a modest total; a 5-4 or 6-3 game gets us over. Given Fedde’s tendency to allow baserunners and Houston’s still-gelling bullpen, the over is a solid play.
-
Prop: Yordan Alvarez to HIT A HOME RUN (+300) – Alvarez is a one-man wrecking crew and matches up well against a righty like Fedde who doesn’t have overpowering velocity. Busch Stadium’s big outfield can’t contain Yordan if he gets ahold of one. At roughly +300 odds, a Yordan homer is an enticing prop bet – he’s due after a few quiet games.

Los Angeles Angels vs Texas Rangers (8:05 PM ET)
This AL West clash has the top two teams in the division squaring off. The Angels (9-6) surprisingly lead the AL West early, while the Rangers (9-7) are just half a game back. Texas, however, is on a three-game skid and will be eager to stop the bleeding at home. The Rangers are -130 favorites in Arlington. Patrick Corbin goes for Texas – the veteran lefty has struggled in recent seasons (and sports an elevated ERA), but the Rangers are giving him a shot. The Angels send Yusei Kikuchi, another left-hander, to the mound. Both pitchers are hittable, and both teams feature star power (Mike Trout for LAA; Corey Seager and Marcus Semien for TEX). This has the makings of a high-scoring affair under the Globe Life Field roof.
-
Moneyline: Rangers (-130) – We’re backing Texas to win and snap their losing streak. While both starting pitchers are question marks, the Rangers have a deeper lineup and the home crowd. Texas has been excellent at home (6-1) despite the recent slump, and we expect their offense to come alive. Look for the Rangers to out-slug the Halos in a contest that might see multiple lead changes.
-
Run Line: Rangers -1.5 (+150) – If you foresee Texas getting back on track in a big way, take the Rangers -1.5. When the Rangers win, they often win big (their run differential is deceptive due to a couple of blowouts). If Corbin can just be serviceable, Texas could win something like 7-4, which would cover comfortably.
-
Over/Under: Over 8.5 Runs – This is one of our stronger total plays: over all day. Both Kikuchi and Corbin are known to give up crooked numbers. The Angels still have Mike Trout and young talent like Jo Adell who can contribute, and the Rangers’ lineup can feast on left-handed pitching. We wouldn’t be surprised to see double-digit combined runs by the seventh inning. An 8-5 type of game is our projection.
-
Prop: Corey Seager OVER 1.5 total bases – Seager has been relatively quiet during the losing streak, but he’s too good to stay down. Facing a fellow lefty in Kikuchi doesn’t bother Seager (he actually hits lefties well). We like him to get at least two total bases – whether via a pair of singles or an extra-base hit. He could even drive one into the gap early to set the tone for Texas.

Chicago Cubs vs San Diego Padres (9:40 PM ET)
Here’s an interesting betting scenario: the first-place Padres (13-3) are home underdogs (+125) against the Cubs. San Diego has the best record in baseball and is on a 4-game winning streak, yet the odds favor Chicago at -145. Why? Likely the pitching matchup: the Cubs are debuting Shōta Imanaga, a highly-touted lefty from Japan, whereas the Padres are using spot-starter Randy Vásquez (a young righty with limited MLB experience). Books may also anticipate some regression for the Padres, but it’s hard to argue with what San Diego has shown so far. They have a 10-0 home record and a +30 run differential. Chicago (11-7) is a good team in their own right, but this line offers value on the Padres.
-
Moneyline: Padres (+125) – We’ll grab the
