The Philadelphia Eagles will host the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football at the Lincoln Financial Field. These teams haven't met since 2019 season where the Vikings took the win 38-20 covering the spread as -3.5 favorites in Minnesota.

The Vikings were pretty amazing in the first game of the season as they beat the Packers 23-7. Justin Jefferson In a record-setting first half, Jefferson torched rival Green Bay for 184 receiving yards and two scores, giving new Vikings coach Kevin O'Connell a huge win. Kirk Cousins completed 23 of 32 attempts for 277 yards with no interceptions, with more over a third of his passes going to Jefferson. "He's a different breed," Eagles cornerback Darius Slay said. "He's one of the best players on their team, so they're going to find a way to get him the ball." reffering to Jefferson.
The Vikings defense was absolutely dominant in week 1 and held Aaron Rodgers to only 195 yards and forced 2 turnovers including an interception. They stopped them in 9 of 12 3rd downs attempts and 2 of 2 4th downs attempts as the Packers scored just 7 points in the game.
Philadelphia Eagles
The Eagles played some great offense in week 1 beating the Detroit Lions 38-35 on the road. They struggled to score in the 1st quarter but the offense exploded in the next 2 quarters enough to win the game. Jalen Hurts gained 333 yards and a touchdown while rushing 17 times for 90 yards and a 1-yard touchdown, one fewer than his career high. In his first game for Philadelphia, A.J. Brown tied a career high with 155 receiving yards.
The Defense was a problem as they blew a 31-14 lead and almost lost the game to the Lions. They allowed 386 yards total and 9 of 14 3rd down attempts from the Lions as well as 1 of 1 4th down attempt. This could be a problem when they faced the Vikings on Monday Night.

This should be a close game as the odds indicate but I definitely like the Vikings to steal this win on the road, Kirk Cousins is 6-3 against the Eagles in his career. Take the Vikings.
