The #2 Ohio State Buckeyes return home to host the Indiana Hoosiers at the Ohio Stadium on Saturday. These teams faced each other last season and the Buckeyes destroyed the Hoosiers 54-7 covering the spread as -21 pts favorites on the road.
Indiana Hoosiers
The Hoosiers have lost 6 games in a row and get here with a 3-6 record after losing 45-14 against Penn State at home. True freshman Brendan Sorsby went three of six with 8 yards and one interception before he was relieved by Dexter Williams III, who finished four of 11 with 41 yards and two interceptions. The Hoosiers ran 31 plays in the first half and 15 went for zero yards or negative yards.
Despite firing his offensive line coach and changing quarterbacks, coach Tom Allen's team has not responded and now they may have to use an unproven starter against No. 2 Ohio State.
Ohio State Buckeyes
The Buckeyes are 9-0 so far this season after beating the Northwestern Wildcats 21-7 on the road last Saturday. Miyan Williams ran for 111 yards and two touchdowns. Stroud, the Big Ten leader in yards passing, set a career low with 76. He completed just 10 of 26 passes in his only game this year without a touchdown throw. But he ran for 79 yards, a big number particularly for a quarterback with minus-4 yards rushing coming in.
Defensively, Ohio State is one of the best in the nation and allows just 105 yards on the rush per game and 165 passing yards ranking #10 in the country with 15.8 points per game but most of the scores they are allowing have been in garbage time.

The Hoosiers have struggled this season and are dealing with a lot of injuries. Connor Bazelak will start for this game but I don't see how that can make a difference against one of the toughest defenses in the league. The Buckeyes struggled a bit in their last game against Northwestern but the weather was a factor so I expect them to have a much better performance at home agianst a poor defense like Indiana. You might think this is a crazy high spread and there will be more money on the Hoosiers but I think the Buckeyes can cover this number at home.
