The Georgia Bulldogs will host the Vanderbilt Commodores at the Mountaineer Field at the Sanford Stadium on Saturday afternoon. These teams faced each other last season and the Bulldogs absolutely destroyed the Commodores 62-0 on the road.

Vanderbilt Commodores

The Commodores get here with a 3-3 record after losing their last 2 games against Alabama and Ole Miss. AJ Swan has made 69 of 110 passes for 848 yards and 8 touchdowns. Ray Davis ranks fifth in the league with his 507 yards rushing while Will Sheppard leads the team in yards received with 452 in 35 receptions and 8 touchdowns.

Defensively, they have struggled allowing 36.8 points per game, 324 passing yards and 155 rushing yards. De’Rickey Wright with their two interceptions against Ole Miss, the linebacker and safety became the Commodores' first defenders with more than one interception in a game since November 9, 2019. With three interceptions, Wright has the second-most in the SEC.

Georgia Bulldogs

The Bulldogs are 6-0 so far this season after beating the Auburn Tigers at home 42-10 last Saturday. Stetson Bennett has made 138 of 199 passes for 1744 yards, 5 touchdowns and 1 interception. RB Branson Robinson, a freshman, set a career high with 98 yards rushing, including a 15-yard scoring run, last week against Auburn.

Defensively, Georgia allows just 89.8 yards on the rush per game, good for third in the SEC and 12th overall. The last three games, Dumas-Johnson has led Georgia in tackles, including a career-high eight against Missouri. For the season, he has two sacks and 29 tackles.

The total has gone OVER in 6 of Vanderbilt's last 7 games.

Vanderbilt are 3-10 SU in their last 13 games.

Vanderbilt are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games against Georgia.

Vanderbilt are 1-6 SU in their last 7 games against Georgia.

Vanderbilt are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games on the road.

The total has gone UNDER in 7 of Georgia's last 8 games.

Georgia are 8-0 SU in their last 8 games.

The total has gone UNDER in 4 of Georgia's last 6 games against Vanderbilt.

Georgia are 14-0 SU in their last 14 games at home.

The Commodores offense has been good actually but their problem is the defense. They are allowing over 300 passing yards per game and over 150 rushing yards which could cause them a lot of trouble when they're facing the defending champions on the road. Georgia's defense continue to be solid and are ranking 4th in the Nation allowing 10.6 points per game. The Bulldogs destroyed the Commodores last season on the road so imagine how the result should be at home. I'm going with Georgia to get an easy win on this one.

PICK: Georgia -38 (-110)
