Tonight we have the Spurs traveling to Orlando to take on the Magic. The Spurs enter this game struggling as they have dropped 2 straight of late. They will be without Jakob Poetl tonight so look for Drew Eubanks and Thaddeous Young to pick up some extra minutes in his absence. The Magic also come into this game struggling as they are plaqued with injuries to some of their players who haven't seen the floor yet this season. Other than injuries to to guys who haven't played yet this year everyone else is healthy and a full go tonight. I expect this game to be close throughout as both teams are young and still trying to figure things out.

San Antonio Spurs

The Spurs are lead by stud guard Dejounte Murray, he's a guy that does it on both sides of the floor and can put up points whenever he wants. Running mate Derek White is also a good player as he too gets it done on both sides of the floor for this Spurs team. They are surrounded by good young players such as Vassel, Walker, Johnson, and McDermott. All these guys are active on both sides and can also put up points when given the opportunity. Drew Eubanks and veteran Thaddeous Young will pick up some extra run with Poetl once again out of the mix tonight. Young is a savvy vet who really gets it done every where on the stat sheet and he could prove the difference tonight against this young and athletic front court that the Magic will roll out. This is a pretty even matchup, though I lean with the Spurs here because of their coaching and  experience. The Spurs will look to pick up their 3rd win of the season tonight.

Orlando Magic

The Magic come into this game as a young squad that is athletic but not that effiecient from the floor. Led by the likes of Cole Anthony who as stepped it up a knotch this year, this Magic team doesn't have much in terms of shooting to begin the season. Jalen Suggs is struggling to find his shot and Franz Wagner has also been inconsistant. Both could turn things around though as it is a small sample early into the season. Frontcourt duo Wendell Carter and Mo Bamba could been in store for nice games tonight as the Spurs don't boast the best front court with Poetl out.. Young is still good but is getting old and Eubanks is an average fill in piece that brings some rebounding. This is a decent matchup for the Magic tonight and they could easily pull off a win against this Spurs squad that's been bleeding points to start the year.

Prediction

I'll be on the Spurs tonight as I think they are the better team in this matchup. Murray and White should have no problem scoring tonight and I expect this Spurs defense to step it up and pick up an easy win.
