Preview

Tonight we have a nice matchup with the Miami Heat traveling to Dallas to take on the Mavericks. The Heat come into this game on a roll to start the season going 5-1 and winning their last 4 games. The Mavericks come into this game looking decent so far to start the season but could be battling some injuries tonight.

The Miami Heat come into this game looking good as expected. Bam Adebayo is currently questionable with a knee injury as of writing this but with him sitting Saturday in the B2B he should be good to go today after practicing on Monday. They'll look to pick up a win tonight against a Mav's team that could be missing a few pieces.

The Dallas Mavericks enter this game playing decent ball to start the season. Kristaps Porzingis is questionable today as he has missed his last 3 games due to a back bruise, Maxi Kleber has also been ruled out for tonight's contest. The Mavericks could have their hands full tonight against a tough Miami squad. 

 

Miami Heat

The Miami Heat have started off the season looking good and once Kyle Lowry gets fully caught up and in tune with what the Heat want to this team could take another leap forward this season as one of the better teams in the East. Jimmy Butler and Bam are the leaders of this team and will be tasked with the majority of the load as Kyle Lowry, Duncan Robinson, and Tyler Herro look to pick up the slack with their scoring and playmaking. After a full season of Tyler Herro getting ragged on he has come out this season on a mission to prove the haters wrong as he has turned it on early to start the year filling up the stat sheet in all categories. Jimmy Butler has also been on another level to start the season on both sides of the ball as he looks to lead this Heat team to the promise land. Victoro Oladipo has yet to make his season debut and adds another dimension to this team when he is on the floor. Look for the Heat to continue to play sound basketball and play tough defense while putting up plenty points tonight in what is a nuetral paced matchup with the Mavericks.

 

Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks enter this game a little banged up as Kleber has already been ruled out and Porzingis is questionable, I don't expect him to play. Luka will be tasked with a heavy workload tonight if Dallas wants to stay in this game and make it competitive. He wil need Tim Hardaway Jr, Jalen Brunson, Dorian Finney Smith, and Dwight Powell to play their best to win this game. Luka is a stud and their is no denying that but with Jimmy Butler most likely to be guarding him he could be in for a rough night as he isn't surrounded by the best support players. Hardaway and Brunson can get hot on any given night and they will be the important pieces for this Dallas team until they get Porzingis back. Luka can continue to do Luka things but if the guys around him aren't making shots then this could be a long night for the Mavs.

Prediction

I'll be riding with the Miaimi Heat tonight as they should be at full strength and just simply boast a better overall team. Butler and Bam should have their way with this team and they are surrounded by better support players. I expect them to pull off an easy win tonight in Dallas.
