Preview

The Milwaukee Bucks will continue their road trip and take on the New York Knicks from Madison Square Garden this evening. The Knicks defeated a shorthanded Bucks team 113-98 last Friday.

Milwaukee Bucks

We're seeing Giannis Antetokounmpo peak, and it's a beautiful thing. The Greek Freak pulled off another big performance against Philly last night, and led the Bucks to their fifth win of the season. Greek Freak is averaging 27.6 ppg, 11.5 rpg, and 5.8 apg this season.

Grayson Allen has really stepped in Khris Middleton's absence. The former Duke guard scored a season-high 25 points, and had a big fourth quarter against the Sixers. He's averaging a career-best 15.5 ppg through his first 11 games in Milwaukee.

Jrue Holiday had a solid homecoming game in Philly last nite, but the two-time All-Star has struggled a bit with his shot since returning from injury.

Bobby Portis and Pat Connaughton have been huge in the absence of Brook Lopez. Portis has posted back-to-back double-doubles, while Connaughton is scoring a career-high 9.8 ppg.

New York Knicks

Julius Randle is the leader of this New York Knicks team. The former UK forward is leading the team in points (22.5) and rebounding (11.1), and they'll need him down low against the Greek Freak.

R.J. Barrett has taken a third-year leap. After scoring a career-high 35 points against New Orleans in front of former Duke teammate Zion Williamson, he led the team with 27 points against Toronto.

The addition's of Evan Fournier and Kemba Walker have paid off early. Fournier dropped 32 in the opener, and he's averaging 14.9 ppg. Walker was off to a hot start, but he's cooled off since and failed to hit double figures in each of the past three games.

Former MVP Derrick Rose leads an energetic second team. He's averaging 11.1 ppg, including a 23-point outburst against Orlando.

Prediction

Milwaukee pulled off a hard fought victory against a shorthanded Sixers team last nite, but they will now enter the Garden as the team missing pieces. Although Jrue Holiday has returned, Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez remain out, and on the second night of a back-to-back, we feel good taking a Knicks team looking for their first home win in four tries. Julius Randle had his way against them last week, and we could see the same thing occur tonite.
