The Pirates will play game two of a three-game road trip at loanDepot park in Miami. Pittsburgh won the first game 2-1 to take a 1-0 series lead. they've now won 4 of their last 6; back-to-back 2-1 series wins against the Nats and then the Reds. Even though they're already eliminated from the playoff contention they are trying to have a strong end to the season. The Marlins are also on the verge of playoff elimination themselves sitting 4th in the NL East. Their last series against the Nationals ended up in a 2-1 win for them. There's nothing left to play for, for either of these clubs but pride.
