Preview

The Cleveland Indians and Kansas City Royals will wrap their three-game set up this evening. Cleveland has taken the first two contests and covered the run line in both.

The Indians recent stretch of play has bless bettors and fans. Cleveland swept the Angels, covered the run lines in their following three games, and they could complete another sweep this evening with a win over the Royals. Their out of the playoff picture, but they have been profitable.

The Royals were on a nice run themselves prior to this three game skid. Kansas City caught fire and won ten of thirteen games to close the month of August. They've played the first two games well, but have failed to close out at home. The Indians have defeated the Royals ten straight times this season, and their due a victory soon.

Triston McKenzie (3-5, 4.83 ERA) gets the call for Cleveland. He's shined at moments during his rookie season and he's really been strong in his last two starts. The 6'5 pitcher threw seven innings and struck out eight against the Angels, and he was flawless on road against the Tigers, throwing eight shutout innings and a career-high eleven strikeouts. In McKenzie's last start against the Royals he threw seven shutout innings and struck out nine.

Royals

Mike Minor (8-11, 5.30 ERA) will take the bump for Kansas City. He got off to a strong start this year, but he's been shaky since June. He's given up threw or more in nine of his last twelve starts, and his worst start of the season came against his opponents this evening. Minor got pulled after giving up six runs in four innings. 

Prediction

The Indians stretch of dominance over the Royals is eye-popping and hard to look away from. Throw in the advantage at the plate and on the mound, and it feels fitting. The underdog odds push it further. We'll trust that Cleveland wins their eleventh straight game against Kansas City. Take their moneyline tonight as they look to close out the sweep.
