How Kingpin works

How Kingpin Works

Post simulated sports picks for free, build a transparent record and compete with the Kingpin community in ongoing rankings.

Place picks for free

Create an account, choose an upcoming event and submit your selection at the listed line. Kingpin picks use simulated money—no real money is wagered, won or lost when you enter the competition.

Build a public pick history

Each submitted pick creates a time-stamped record of the sport, event, market and price. Once an event is complete, the pick is graded and added to your performance history so other members can evaluate the record behind your rankings.

Compete on an ongoing leaderboard

The Kingpin competition is continuous, not monthly. Your graded picks contribute to an ongoing record as you compete with every eligible member for position in the overall and sport-specific rankings. The competition does not offer a cash prize, monthly pot or payout.

Compare overall and sport-specific rankings

Use the overall leaderboard to compare ranked members across Kingpin, or choose a sport to focus on relevant results. Rankings can change as new picks are submitted and graded.

Competition questions

Does it cost money to enter?

No. Posting picks and joining the ranking competition is free.

Does the competition reset every month?

No. It is an ongoing competition, and the leaderboard continues as members build their graded pick histories.

Are there cash prizes or payouts?

No. Kingpin does not pay cash prizes, offer a monthly pot or pay members for leaderboard position.

Simulated competition only. Kingpin is not a sportsbook.

From public picks to expert rankings

Kingpin is built around records that can be checked. Members post selections, completed events are graded, and eligible experts are ranked using sport-specific sample and winnings rules.

Public pick history

Posted selections create a time-stamped record with the sport, event, market and price. That record remains available after the event is graded.

Sport-aware rankings

Eligibility considers enough graded picks and positive winnings in the relevant sport window. The goal is to compare performance within the sport rather than combine unrelated records.

Research, not guarantees

Rankings, consensus and Sharp Picks summarize information; they do not guarantee outcomes. Check the current line and follow a budget you can afford to lose.

Frequently asked questions

Can any member become ranked?

A member must meet the current graded-pick and positive-winnings criteria for the sport before appearing as a ranked expert.

Do rankings stay fixed?

No. They update as picks are graded and eligibility windows change.
