The Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves will play the second game of their three-game set tonight. The Dodgers are 8-1 against the Braves at home over their last nine games.

The Braves were one of the hottest teams in the National League prior to a back-to-back with the Yankees. They've only won two of their last six games, and they only sit three games above the Phillies in the NL East.

The Dodgers have locked into postseason form this month, dominating every series except their last set with the Rockies. LAD jumped out to an early lead last night and didn't look back. They're just a game behind the Giants in the NL West and have full control of an NL Wild Card spot.

Pitching matchup

Charlie Morton (12-5, 3.60 ERA) takes the mound for the Braves. The thirteen-year veteran is the prime definition of a late bloomer. After dominating during the Astros and Rays respective title runs, Morton has picked up where he left off and is tied for third in the NL in wins. He's thrown seven strikeouts or more in eight of his last ten starts, and hasn't given up more than four runs since July.

Walker Buehler (13-2, 2.02 ERA) will get the start for Los Angeles. The Vanderbilt product is having the best season of his career, and he's tied for the NL lead in wins. He hasn't given up more than three runs since June, and he's on pace to set a career-low in ERA. Buehler has dominated away from Dodger Stadium, tossing 10 strikeouts in a win over the Mets last week, and eight K's in a crucial win in the Bay against San Fran.

The NL playoff previews just keep coming, this time it features two of the best arms in the league. Morton had a tough time in his last time out against the Yankees, and wish Buehler on the mound at home, we want to lean with the blues tonight. Take the Dodgers run line, as Buehler takes the mound for what could be another masterpiece.

PICK: Los Angeles Dodgers -1.5 (+110)
