We’re in the heart of summer baseball, and Wednesday’s slate is packed with matchups that offer plenty of betting value. Below are our favorite bets and player props for each game.

 

New York Yankees vs Cincinnati Reds

Best Bet: Yankees -1.5 (-105)

Reason: Max Fried (9-2, 2.05 ERA) has been elite, and the Yankees' offense is finding rhythm. Reds’ Singer has struggled in high-leverage innings.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs Chicago White Sox

Best Bet: D-backs ML (-150)

Reason: Gallen may have a high ERA, but against a struggling White Sox lineup and Burke’s 4.50 ERA, this is a good bounce-back spot.

Pittsburgh Pirates vs Milwaukee Brewers

Best Bet: Under 7.5 Runs

Reason: Pitchers duel between Skenes (1.85 ERA) and Misiorowski (1.64 ERA). This game could be scoreless through six.

Boston Red Sox vs Los Angeles Angels

Best Bet: Angels ML (-125)

Reason: Kikuchi has been solid, while Fitts is winless. Red Sox’s bullpen also remains a concern.

Washington Nationals vs San Diego Padres

Best Bet: Padres -1.5 (+125)

Reason: Gore has cooled off, and Pivetta has the upper hand. San Diego's lineup is too strong in this spot.

Texas Rangers vs Baltimore Orioles

Best Bet: Rangers ML (-155)

Reason: deGrom (7-2, 2.24 ERA) should overpower a young Baltimore team struggling to find consistency.

Oakland Athletics vs Detroit Tigers

Best Bet: Tigers -1.5 (-110)

Reason: Detroit dominates at home and gets a favorable pitching matchup with Lopez on the mound for the A’s.

Toronto Blue Jays vs Cleveland Guardians

Best Bet: Guardians ML (-115)

Reason: G. Williams (3.58 ERA) is in better form than Scherzer. Jays continue to be inconsistent offensively.

Atlanta Braves vs New York Mets

Best Bet: Mets -1.5 (+135)

Reason: Holmes has been a rock. Braves are just 15-26 on the road, and Fuentes hasn’t looked sharp.

Seattle Mariners vs Minnesota Twins

Best Bet: Twins ML (-130)

Reason: Ryan is the superior arm. Kirby’s ERA is nearing 6 and has struggled against right-heavy lineups like Minnesota’s.

Tampa Bay Rays vs Kansas City Royals

Best Bet: Royals ML (+105)

Reason: M. Wacha at home is a reliable arm. Rasmussen may struggle with a KC lineup that thrives against righties.

Chicago Cubs vs St. Louis Cardinals

Best Bet: Cubs ML (-135)

Reason: Boyd’s strong season continues. Cubs bullpen has the edge late in games.

Philadelphia Phillies vs Houston Astros

Best Bet: Phillies -1.5 (+105)

Reason: Wheeler is elite this season and Astros may be overmatched despite home field advantage.

Los Angeles Dodgers vs Colorado Rockies

Best Bet: Dodgers -2.5 (-110)

Reason: Yamamoto vs Dollander at Coors Field spells mismatch. LAD's bats should explode.

Miami Marlins vs San Francisco Giants

Best Bet: Giants ML (-215)

Reason: Webb at home is reliable and Marlins’ offense is inconsistent and lacking power.
